Archives – Bolton (Wingates)

We hold the following image of Wingates Independent Methodist Church in our archives.

Wingates Independent Methodist Church was established 1819. The church building was situated on Dixon Street in Westhoughton, Bolton but was closed 2001 and demolished. A day school operated at the church from 1886, but was transferred to Lancashire County Council in 1915.
